Word for The Year - 2022.
Welcome, 2022. One of my favorite things about starting a new year is being able to reflect back in gratitude.
There is nothing better than realizing all the ways God showed up, despite difficult circumstances or times where I truly felt lost. 2021 brought me more joy than any year of my life- getting engaged to the man who exceeds my wildest dreams, creating everyday memories in this house I get to call home, and growing a community that I truly love.
Last year our word was REVIVAL.
We set out to revive community and invigorate women in a space that inspired them. We created and launched our first annual conference- The Good Space Collective. Revival brought us hope, an optimistic look to the future, and a way to connect with our beloved community of women we had missed oh, so much. From empowering local speakers, creative buzz, gorgeous installations, and hype music- we felt all the energy of revival.
This year, our word is RENEWAL.
It’s the yin to the yang, the water to the fire. While Revival was bold and energizing, Renewal is soft and reflective. This year we will be creating space for slow growth and allow our focus to shift to ‘being’ rather than doing. Renewal is giving space for self-reflection, permission to change, and intentionality to listen with open ears and hearts.
Let’s RENEW our spirits and minds with daily practices that feed our mind and soul in a healthy way. Let’s join together to hold collective space for the parts that feel broken, bruised, or hardened. Let’s be The Collective for one another.
